Terms & Conditions, Reservation and Cancellation Policy, and Privacy Policy

1. Check-in and Check-out: 

• • Check-in time is from 12:00 PM, and check-out is until 10:00 AM. 
  • Earlier check-in is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, a reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night. 

2. Children Policy: 

• • Children aged 5 years and older are charged as per the standard rate. 
  • For children below 5 years old, sharing with adults is complimentary with existing bedding. 
  • Children aged 10 years and above will be charged as adults. 

3. Booking Changes and Errors: 

• • While it is unlikely that we will change or cancel your booking once confirmed, we will inform you as soon as possible if any changes are necessary. 
  • We reserve the right to make non-significant changes and correct errors in your booking details at any time without liability. 
  • In the event of unintentional mistakes (e.g., pricing, description, or availability errors), we reserve the right to modify or cancel your booking at any time up to the point of travel, even if you have received confirmation. A full refund of the advance paid will be provided, but no further compensation will be payable. 

4. Booking Confirmation: 

• • Please carry a printout of the booking confirmation email at the time of check-in. 

5. Insurance and Accidents: 

• • Guests are advised to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers accidents, health issues, and incidents related to wildlife encounters, including but not limited to wild animal attacks and snake bites. 
  • Jeevan Village Resort does not accept liability for any form of loss or damage, whether by reason of death, injury, illness, or otherwise, caused by wildlife encounters, accidents, or unforeseen events beyond our control. 

6. Reservation and Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation: 

• • Guests can cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. 
  • Guests will be charged 50% of the total price if they cancel within 7 days before arrival. 
  • In case of no-show without prior communication, the full booking amount will be charged. 

2. No-Show Policy: 

• • Guaranteed reservation rooms will be held for the guest until 6:00 AM the next day of the arrival date. After this, it will be treated as a no-show booking. 

3. Date Changes: 

• • In case of date changes, the existing booking needs to be cancelled according to the cancellation policy. Reservations for new dates will be subject to availability. 

4. Refunds: 

• • Any refund will be returned only to the same credit/debit card account, bank account, or payment method used for the advance payment. It may take up to 14 working days to process the refund from the date of the cancellation email. 

7. Limitation of Liability

• • Jeevan Village Resort does not accept liability for any form of loss or damage, whether by reason of death, injury, illness, or otherwise, caused by circumstances beyond our control or due to unforeseen events. 
  • Swimming in the pool is at the guest’s own risk. Any accident or loss of life related to this will not be the responsibility of the property owner or Jeevan Village Resort. 
  • Guests are advised to take necessary precautions and be aware of the risks associated with being in a jungle environment. Jeevan Village Resort will not be held responsible for any injuries or accidents caused by wildlife encounters. 

8. Guests  Responsibility

1. Legitimate Reservations: 

• • You agree to make only legitimate reservations in good faith for use by you and your invited guests. Reservations must not be made for reselling, impermissibly assigning, posting on third-party websites, or speculative, false, or fraudulent purposes. 

2. Passport and Identity Proof: 

• • As per government regulations, foreign guests must present a valid passport and travel visa. Indian guests must present one of the following: passport, valid driving license, voter ID card, or Aadhar card. PAN cards are not acceptable as proof of ID. 

9. Governing Law

• • This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and Courts situated at Wai and Mahabaleshwar shall have exclusive jurisdiction to try and decide any dispute arising between the Guest and Jeevan Village Resorts. 

10. Disclaimer 

• • The inclusion of any links on our website does not imply a recommendation or endorsement of any sort. We take no responsibility for and will not be liable for the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control. 

11. Privacy Policy

• • We respect your right to privacy. Any personal information shared with us (e.g., name, date of birth, address, marital status, telephone number, credit/debit card details) will be kept confidential. 
  • Your personal information will not be used or disclosed except for the purpose of doing business with you or if required by law.
